We are a small family business based in Rawtenstall in Rossendale. Dave hails from Scotland with all his family still there. Having worked as a chef in the valley for a number of years, the challenges hospitality faced with covid meant he needed to diversify his business to support his young family. One autumn evening and a call with Granny Scott later, he had her first recipe, Scottish tablet. After making batch after batch of this, perfecting the skill, he had a batch which would make her proud! The chutney recipes following suite shortly after expanding the range to include all the preserves enjoyed in the motherland! The Scot Family Kitchen was born!
All the vegetables and fruit used in the preserves are sourced by Nature’s Garden in Rossendale and are organic. Supporting local businesses continues to be at the heart of what we do. All the preserves are gluten free, dairy free and vegan friendly so there’s a little something for everyone.
