Halloween is just around the corner and it’s Essential Rossendale Valley
favourite time of year!
With autumn almost here, the nights are getting darker and this means only one thing, Halloween is creeping up on us! It’s time to brush of your broomsticks and dig out the decorations. Let’s get spooky!
Get your outfit sorted, plastic fangs, witches’ hats, red horns and white sheets it’s time to go trick or treating! The best dressed always gets the best treats!
If you are hosting a Halloween party the house defiantly needs some eerie decorations to create your own witch’s lair. Greetings Haslingden can help you with Halloween balloons to start you off, add some spider’s webs, candles and skulls and don’t forget the pumpkin! If a party is not for you then stock up on the sweet treats and put on a scary film, don’t forget to have the cushion close… you may need to hide behind it!
Do you need some spooky food ideas? Pumpkin soup and finger hot dogs are a must have! Try the trick or treat box from Baked.Cakes or the Halloween Cupcakes from Clare’s Cupcake Co. Stock up on all your sweets from Kandy Corner the streets will be filled with little trick or treaters carrying their cauldrons ready to fill them with sugary treats. If you don’t have any treats ready you risk a trick and I’ve heard they can be quite nasty!

🎃 Come along to The Festival of Fun on 26th and 27th October St. Peter’s Church Community Centre Haslingden 9am -3pm.
🎃 Take part in the Pumpkin trail on Sunday 31st October from 1pm starting from Anna’s Cafe-Bar-Convenience. The pumpkins will be hidden around the village, find the secret word and head back to the cafe for your goody bag. Please call the cafe to book.
🎃 If you are feeling creative when visit Chockle’ Art Fingers workshop where you will learn how to make gruesome gourmet goodies!
🎃 Learn with Love are hosting ‘Our First Halloween’ on 27th October expect messy play, fun and games.
